A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is trained to support individuals, couples, and families in navigating emotional challenges and relationship dynamics. The work is rooted in understanding how your experiences, connections, and environment shape your well-being.
Not at all. While relationship work is a specialty, many clients come individually to explore personal growth, healing, and life transitions.
Clients often seek support for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family dynamics, grief, trauma, and major life changes. Therapy is also a space for self-discovery, clarity, and personal alignment.
Your first session is a conversation—an opportunity to share what brings you in, explore your goals, and begin building a sense of comfort and trust. There is no pressure to have everything figured out.
If clinically appropriate, diagnoses can be provided as part of your care. However, therapy is not defined by a label—it is centered on your experience and goals.
Yes. Your privacy is deeply respected. Information shared in session remains confidential, with limited legal exceptions related to safety.
The therapeutic relationship matters. If you’re feeling drawn to begin, that’s often a good place to start. You are always encouraged to ask questions and ensure you feel supported and understood.
To help your first visit go more smoothly, please print the following forms and have them completed before your first appointment. If you are a minor, please complete the “New Minor Client Forms” and have your guardian complete the “Consent” form. If you have any difficulties, please let me know so I can make printed copies available.
